Get in on the action of the Clone Wars with the Republic Attack Gunship set 7676 from the Lego Star Wars Collection. With plenty of cannons, spy droids, and flick missiles to jumpstart a major battle, this building set is primed to satisfy both serious Lego builders and Star Wars collectors. With lots of little parts and detailed instructions, this set is recommended for ages 9 to 14. Like all Lego sets, it also holds the potential to keep creative adults entertained for hours.

I bought this for Christmas for my fiance. He absolutely loves it. He said he had to make a few changes to the design to make it more durable but otherwise it is an excellent model for a Star Wars and Lego fan such as him. It came with a ton of extras and fun little things like that. It seems like an advanced model to build, a beginner (adult or child alike) would probably have difficulty with it.

I paid $120 for this toy, and it was given to my son as his most desired Christmas present. However, the set was missing three bags of legos, where we could not complete the set. It was a big disappointment for my 8 year old son. I had bought the toy in mid October, and by late December the return window with Amazon had expired. I would be charged a 15% to 50%!!! restocking fee. This could amount to a lot of money because the toy was expensive to begin with. So, if I mailed it in, I could have lost $60 on this defective LEGO set. I contacted CHASE VISA, and disputed the charge. CHASE VISA refunded my account in February and I received a notice of the decision in the mail. Now in March, I get a phone call from CHASE VISA telling me that AMAZON is requesting for me to mail back the set. By now, the box is gone and the pieces scattered. I lost to AMAZON and I guess to CHASE VISA too. I am not refunded the cost of the defective LEGO set after all. I feel bad that I spent $120 on a LEGO set for a big Christmas present which turned out to be such a downer and waste of time...a waste of money....

When I got this, I was kind of nervous because I'd read other reviews that it was fairly fragile and just wouldn't hold well together. Well BOY WAS I WRONG! This set is awesome, it's a fun set and my parents have to keep me in a straightjacket (joke) to keep me from continuously building and playing! The overall gunship took me about 4 hours to build. The design was good, but you have to look over the instructions carefully. I've read that some people say the speeder bike in this is the best one that Lego® has come up with - that is 100% true. The thing that I didn't like was that there were so many pieces that sometimes the pieces were hard to find - but that's just the nature of kits like this! I'd recommend the Gunship for kids looking for a challenge, don't give up easily and have the time to spend building it. To sum it all up, this was the best kit I've bought yet!
